Museum of Scotland - The museum is a striking new landmark in Edinburgh's historic Old Town. It houses more than 10,000 of the nation's most precious artefacts, as well as everyday objects which throw light on life in Scotland through the ages.
Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh - Established in 1670, on an area the size of a tennis court, the Garden is now over 70 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. Spectacular features include the Rock Garden and the Chinese Hillside. The amazing glasshouses feature Britain's tallest palm house
Edinburgh Zoo - Scotland's largest wildlife attraction, set in 80 acres of leafy hillside parkland, just ten minutes from the city centre. With over 1,000 animals ranging from the tiny poison arrow frog to massive white rhinos, including many threatened species.

Directions
By Car: From Edinburgh Airport to Queen Street Head Office: - Exit Edinburgh Airport onto East Field Road - follow signs for the city centre/Edinburgh Zoo. - Go through Eastfield Road and turn left onto the A8. - Enter Edinburgh on Glasgow Road (A8). Go through the Drumbrae roundabout and onto Saint John's Road (A8). This will become Corstorphine Road (A8). - Turn right on Roseburn Terrace (A8). Carry onto West Coates, which becomes Haymarket Terrace (A8). - Turn left into Haymarket (A8) and carry on West Maitland Street. This becomes Shandwick Place (A8), which becomes Princes Street. - Turn left onto South Charlotte Street (A90) which becomes Charlotte Square and then North Charlotte Street. - Turn right onto Albyn Place, and turn left into Queen Street. We are at number 6 Queen Street (opposite end) on the right-hand side, next to the Jam House.
By Bus: From Edinburgh Airport: The Airlink Bus number 100 costs about 5 GBP (return) (2007). The airport bus departs every 15 minutes. Guests must disembark at the Waverly Bridge terminus (opposite Waverly Station). The reception and key collection is approximately a 7 -10 minute walk from there.
By Taxi: A taxi will cost approximately 20 GBP from the airport (2007).
