Museum of Scotland - The museum is a striking new landmark in Edinburgh's historic Old Town. It houses more than 10,000 of the nation's most precious artefacts, as well as everyday objects which throw light on life in Scotland through the ages.
Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh - Established in 1670, on an area the size of a tennis court, the Garden is now over 70 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. Spectacular features include the Rock Garden and the Chinese Hillside. The amazing glasshouses feature Britain's tallest palm house

Directions
From Edinburgh Airport to Queen Street: - Exit Edinburgh Airport on to East Field Road. - Follow signs for the city centre/ Edinburgh zoo. - Go through Eastfield Road and turn left onto the A8. - Enter into Edinburgh carrying on Glasgow Road (A8). - Go through the Drumbrae roundabout and onto Saint John's Road (A8). - This will become Corstorphine Road (A8). - Turn right on the Roseburn Terrace (A8). - Carry onto West Coates, which becomes Haymarket Terrace (A8). - Turn left into Haymarket (A8) and carry on West Maitland Street. - This becomes Shandwick Place (A8) which becomes Princes Street. - Turn left onto South Charlotte Street (A90) which becomes Charlotte Square and then North Charlotte Street. - Turn right onto Albyn Place, and turn left into Queen Street. - We are at number 6 Queen Street (opposite end) on the right-hand side, next to the Jam House. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the airport for approximately 20 GBP or take the air link bus for 5 GBP return. The airport bus departs every 15 minutes. Guests must disembark at the Waverly Bridge terminus (opposite Waverly Station). Reception and key collection is approximately a 7 to 10-minute walk from here.
